A rare find. This is the original Lockheed SST Press kit that was presented at unveiling of the mock-up. It is dated June 27,1966.
The outside folder is very fragile with a lot of foxing, but the contents are as fresh as they day they were presented to the public. The release contains typewritten documents (original hand typed pages), glossy photos of the exterior, and interior, the Lockheed factory. There also a fold out brochure with several nicely rendered paintings of the exterior. The interior is also shown in schematic layout form. I'll be scanning the entire kit and will post it to it's own blog to follow soon. Look for it. In the meantime, enjoy the photo of the grouping.
